Day 2 of Walking with trees. Continuing to learn how to identify trees from their winter buds, tree shape, and bark. A great way to spend a day, looking at trees with good company. To balance the mental strain of learning we also get stuck into some practical uses of trees. Today its stripping Lime bark to process for cordage, set up Silver birch and Sycamore taps to collect sap, and learning to make cordage from Lime bark.
