On one of these days we will give a good introduction to some of the skills of bushcraft.
It is designed to give you the chance to have a go and learn some new skills, in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our aim is that at the end of the day you will see wild places in a completely new way, be amazed at the world we live in, have learnt new skills and most importantly had a lot of fun. On a single day, time is the limiting factor, so we aim to cover a few areas well. Prior to the date we will talk with you about the content to clarify what is it we will do on that day. |

On the day we can tackle any of the following areas.
Fire, managing a fire, lighting a fire, the different ways of igniting a fire. Water, collection and making safe. Shelter, using natural materials and man made systems. Sharp tools, safety, how to use, sharpening. Trees, identification, uses, harvesting. Plants, identification and uses. Animals, signs and tracks. Archery and air guns. Exploring the woodland environment, taking time to enjoy being in a wild place. |

These days are about you having a go at the skills of bushcraft with no pressure. We want you to enjoy being out in the woods learning and developing, working at your pace with plenty of time for one to one help. That is why we limit our group size, as we want you to have the space and time with an instructor to gain a new skill. We are able to run bushcraft courses either at a woodland in Devon or a woodland in Somerset.
The day will run from 10.00 to 16.00 hrs unless otherwise agreed.
Hot drinks are provided and are available throughout the day. You will need to bring your own lunch and snacks.
These days will run as long as the minimum of 4 people are booked.

We are very flexible about the content and shape of the course. If you wish to work with us we can put together a course that will be ideal for you. Please contact us to create the best course for you.
The cost per person is £60. A deposit of £20 per person is required to make a booking and full payment should be made before the course commences.
