Fagus sylvatica. Looking good in our Devon wood . |
Review.
'Walking with trees has been a great experience getting up close and personal with trees and learning both recognition in the different seasons as well as uses. I enjoyed both the observation elements and the practical elements of the course, having a go at making things with knives and using axes. Steve is a good teacher, bringing the subject to life and together with Lin, his wife, are very hospitable. Really enjoyed Lin's soup cooked over the campfire. The course was set in a beautiful peaceful woodland in easy reach of Tiverton.
I would highly recommend it.'
