Went to check the bark today and found it was ready.
The next part is messy and smelly, the bark is slimy and as I separated the layers it smelt of cat pee. Bit by bit I separated the layers and laid them out over a branch, it took time but slowly I accumulated a nice pile of long flat fibers. I then rinsed them in the clean stream water and took them home to dry out. Job done, a new supply of really good Lim
