Running a day in December will always depend on the weather. The forecast 5 days previous looked really poor but as the day approached it improved. On the day it was dry all morning and then only drizzle. This enabled us to have a great time in the woods. Fire lighting, exploring, and getting a glimpse of 2 Roe deer. After a few hours the lads had grasped that the woods was somewhere you could find all you need to live, they left with the knowledge that it is important to take care of these places.
