A great four days working with Ability in the forest of Dean. We had six young adults with disabilities, and a great team which produced a very good week. We took the group on all sorts of activities, caving, climbing, archery, and bush craft. It was a real privilege to help them engage with the forest, tasting wild plants, looking at trees, building a shelter, making fire, cooking marsh mellows and twisters. Helping them turn sparks into flames was a highlight. Hope to join up with them again soon for more forest based activities.
